“The flying fifty hotel had the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. We loved the check in process. By not having any "front desk" employees they can keep the prices lower for such a nice room. It was the most comfortable bed. We loved the huge balcony. We were able to walk to shops and dinner. And bonus, the ice cream shop downstairs made the room smell like waffle cones. We love unique places to stay!”

“We are from Birmingham and wanted a little getaway, so we chose The Flying Fifty Boutique Hotel, and we were not disappointed! The rooms are well-appointed and it is clear that the owners have thought of everything, even down to a sound machine and Nori handheld steamer in every room! The place was spacious, immaculate, soundproof, and comfortable. The shower was fabulous with plenty of pressure, hot water and top-of-the-line bath products too! Cannot say enough great things about this quick trip! Well worth the 45 minute drive!”

“My husband and I had a wonderful stay! We stayed in the Steeples Suite and will definitely be coming back. It was so clean and cozy and you can tell how much thought went into curating the hotel. We loved everything about it especially the history and how they used locally made products throughout the hotel!”

“We enjoyed staying in the Steeples suite. It was very relaxing and encouraging atmosphere. It exceeded our expectations! The balcony was great, The suite was spacious and they thought of everything from sound machine to even snacks & drinks you can purchase in your room. We will stay there again and loved the convenience of walking downtown to restaurants, shopping & ice cream right below.”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Flying Fifty Hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful, with a unique and charming atmosphere, filled with lots of Cullman memorabilia that gives it a special local touch. They were kind enough to accommodate our early check-in request, which made our trip start off on the right foot. Our room was spacious, absolutely immaculate, and had everything we could possibly need — including a Dyson hairdryer (a very nice touch!). Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Cullman. It’s stylish, comfortable, and full of character. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Terrific location in downtown Cullman. Stayed the night here after a super fun wine event at the wine bar next door. The check in process was a breeze and the room was incredible. Tons of comfy living space, a big porch, and lots of thoughtful details. Will definitely be coming back to see what the other rooms have in store.”
